September - December 2023
The children have settled back into routine after their summer holidays. We had a busy few months and all the children have worked very hard. Well done to all!
We have enjoyed many activities over the past few months such as: baking, a trip to the planet, autumn nature walks, sensory play and music with Dee Dee to name but a few. A highlight for our class this term was a student winning 1st place in the Credit Union Art Competition for Under 7’s. We are so proud! We worked hard on our literacy skills-learning to read & write. The children really enjoyed the educational app, Reading Eggs’ and it has helped support them in their learning. Circle time every morning has been a great opportunity for the children to build on their oral language/social skills. For Halloween, we had so much fun dressing up and showing our friends our costumes. The children took part in many Christmas themed activities and tasks. We enjoyed singing Christmas carols.
We wish the children a very Happy Christmas and we look forward to 2024!!
